Another point for PC: As time goes by and you upgrade your PC, the FPS keeps increasing on older games. (As long as developers do their job, which some don't...)
Yeah all my top end PC games run at 30-45 FPS on my PC no different from my consoles really. I'd rather spend my dosh on more than one gaming system then invest all my eggs all in OP basket. Most high spec PC games are poor generic console ports anyways these days. The indie PC market has the best to offer for innovation anyways and you don't generally need a gaming beast to play those titles.
