Description

It works at near native performance at high (Phenom x6 + NV 560 Ti).

1. Install vc2005, 2008, and dx9_36.
2. Get wine sources and memory leak patch (http://bugs2.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=27310)
3. Install dependencies that ./configure will complain about

a. If you need to install oss4 to get sound (which is the easy way) you can get instructions here: Opensound.com

You may need to init 1 before doing make install on oss4 if you get an error.
In my test, building wine without sound also removed all 2D graphics (aka the HUD) once in-game which made for an interesting experience. So build with sound :)

4. Make the 32bit wine.
5. Install your customized wine.
6. Install Crysis
7. Add the VideoMemorySize=yourSize value to Wine/Direct3D.
8. Play Crysis.
