I'm Travis, I'm new to Desura. I heard about it a while ago but finally came back to see if they made any progress on the linux client, and to my surprise here I am. A little bit about me: I'm a culinary student, game design and programming is one of my hobbies, I enjoy listening and playing music and like to think I do it well. I'm planning on releasing some Indie games on Desura, and hopefully steam. I'll be releasing for Windows, Linux, OS X, possibly android and iOS also. |

Better go with Desura if you can... Steam is the devil. |

Steam is kinda proprietary and "evil", but its easy to deploy on. If I'm going to distribute on steam I'll most definitely distribute on Desura also. Edited by: tsturzl |

I heard otherwise (aka problems with steam deploying, updating and else). But everybody can choose his own fate... good or bad |
