One of our members (voythas) has created this neato little extension for Google Chrome that will alert you when you have a new update or a new personal message with some extra site customizations to boot.
Its good to see that our community loves ModDB enough to want to do things like this, so if you are doing something of the sort we would love to hear about it! As for (voythas) little tool to use it all you need is a copy of Google Chrome and this extension, you can also chat about it here on our forums and maybe get an idea you want in as well, who knows.
The ironic thing is that ModDB is a website designed for Modders to get their work noticed not matter how big or small the project is, I never thought ModDB would end up being modded itself.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about making extensions for Firefox, I'll try to figure this out when I will find a little of free time.
Until then - Chrome only :P.

Damn I used chrome religiously till about a month ago when i switched to Opera. Great idea but any chance of Getting it for Opera too?

Whit respect, I prefer Firefox. Yeah, i've used Chrome once. Its faster that Firefox, but I personally totally disliked the interface, functions, and some other things. And, as every single Google program and service, it ''spies'' you. Still much better that using Internet Exploder, I mean, Explorer.
Oh, Google spies us? Because every user has his own ID number? Google doesn't spy anyone -.-
In Firefox every user has his own ID also and you are still using it :P. The whole case with spying by Google is biggest bs ever, buddy.
