mine is hell girl this is because each episode there is a realy either mesed up or disurbing story in somones life.
its not somthing you would whatch for fun but it realy interests me.

Well, you can go watch Higurachi or Elfen Lied, but if you want some really hardcore stuff, go watch Genocyber.

For me horror doesnt translate well into animation for me. Most of the time it just feels like anime tagged with horror just drowns the audience in gore rather than going into horror. Since you said most disturbing anime pretty much any moe filled series with no real story progression other than fanservice thats unnerving hell for me.

I'd have to say it's KITE for me, i don't mind violence in anime too much there are some great battle animes out there but KITE takes it to places that should be given their own genre >.<
