This week is all about adventure games, with the girls exploring Erin Robinson’s newest creation, Puzzle Bots, as well as a few other top notch adventure games that have been released recently. In addition to great adventure games, the girls take a look at some of the great games that have been released on Steam since their hiatus, with several that are definitely worth purchasing.

First up is the amazing P.B. Winterbottom which saw its debut on the Xbox Live Arcade for 800 points. Steam users can obtain the magic of a pie pilfering portly gentlemen and his paradox portals for only $4.99, cheaper than picking it up on 360. Best of all, it has achievements and if you think we didn’t gush over it enough in the episode, you can check out Overlord Ror’s review of the game right here.

Aside from Winterbottom, the indie section on Steam has been quite busy lately, with several releases from the Blitz1Up group. The most notable of these is KrissX which is a fun little game that saw its release on 360 first. Aside from KrissX, you can also find Fluttabyes and Mole Control available as well. All three of these titles start at $4.99 which means if you love puzzling casual games, you should definitely download the demos and check them out.

For the fans of fast paced action and massive robots, Plain Sight and Booster Trooper are both available. Both retail for only $9.99 and have pretty interesting gameplay. Think of Plain Sight as robot ninjas fighting before mass suicide, and Booster Trooper as an indie version of Bionic Commando. The games each have their own niche, but you should definitely check them out if you enjoy side scrolling shooters or third person attack shooters. Continued on 2G1G website...

Your Pics are broken :(
Looks like some offsite linking protection since it works if I access them from their folder.

I've noticed the pics come and go all over IndieDB, actually. There doesn't seem to be a lot we can do about it on our end, from what we've tried, but I hope it won't deter from anything. :(

Capitalizing on the fact that your girls who play games, and that gamers are generally complete nerds?

There are numerous podcasts featuring women who talk about games, GiffE. I wouldn't call it capitalizing. While the show name is 2 Girls 1 Game, there's no air of, "OMG WE'RE GIRLS WHO PLAY GAMES!" We strictly avoid that impression.

Check out Ladies of Leet and Monitor Tans for more women who game.

Purely judging by the name given, it leaves a taste in my mouth (kinda similar to the taste you get when watching 2g1c). Considering its referring to 2g1c which is a bit... explicit... I'd say it's hoping to easily scoop into the male gamer demographic by its name.

The content of it may be entirely different, and even quite respectable. I listened to the podcast, while I wasn't interested in the conversation had, they didn't sound like the G4 girls (which were obnoxious). So I'll give them that.

You say 'they', but overlordror and myself ARE 'they'. :P Thanks for acknowledging that we don't sound like the G4 girls, though; they were indeed obnoxious.
