I would be interested in how the game differs from other fps shooters. The description suggests that, but the features there seem to be present in most other multiplayer shooters, so I am probably missing something.
Okay, so:
As you can see, the game is based on the old COD4 gameplay.
From there on we continue to make changes to it.
We have added a specializations (For now medic / supporter and in the future the hacker (You can read more about that on the store / game page)). You also die much slower than in other games for comparison. So it is not only who shoots first wins (Subject to balance). Also smaller stuff like custom spray workshop integration is there :) And there will be more of that in the future!
So... dying slowly is the only thing which is is kinda different from other multiplayer fps games?...The setting and weapons seem to be standard, the game modes are exact copies of other game modes from games like this. Visuals are just realistic, slightly.
The animations are nice though...
My question was, what makes this game stand out?
That is exactly what makes it stand out (So far, of course there will be more in the future). In almost all shooters (Talking about multiplayer of course) you die really quickly making a fair fight impossible.
Hm...not getting shot is kinda part of the "fair fight", isn't it?
I actually mean being able to defend yourself when someone comes from behind or from the side and shoots first. If you have better aim you might still be able to win the fight.
Hm...I see, yes this could be interesting, I am looking forward to trying it out. I wonder how this works out while balancing weapons, since this is essentially just lowering weapon hit damage.
It's a bit more complex than that.
You have your normal health = 100 hit points
then you have armor over it
When the armor is > 50% it absorbs all the damage, then if its lower than 50% damage starts affecting your health. When its exactly 50% your health takes no damage, 25% it takes half of the damage and 0% it takes all of the damage. The medic can restore health but not armor.
That animations! That sounds! I know something about FPS's and i can say that you did massive job to make it look so good. Keep on developing, and good luck with this project . Damn, I want this !
And at the fragment with zombies... is that secondary weapon at the top of that m16 thingy AK12? That makes me want this game even more.

This idea sounds pretty good , i really liked COD 4.
I also even more love the fact that there are no jetpacks , because that ruined call of duty for me.
