Run giveaway RSS Project Sonnensystem

This is a giveaway of 100 Itch.io keys for Project Sonnensystem, a multiplayer "derp-em-up" set in a microplanet-based solar system. Your goal is to be the first one to repair and refuel your warp drive, and warp out of the solar system. To aid in your goal, you can build traps and perform indirect combat with your enemies. It's a race to the death of who gets out quickest, but everyone should have fun doing it. You cannot see other players, only what the do to the world around you. The game's currently in closed alpha, so this giveaway serves as an alpha sign-up; your Itch key will provide you with access to the game, it's soundtrack, etc, forever. One day, if it ever makes it on Steam, you can even get a Steam key. If the Itch.IO key/link thing is giving you a 404 or Password Required message, PLEASE PM ME. IndieDB has cut some of the key links short. I can find you the key you were supposed to get and send it in a reply.

It says you need a password to look at the game's homepage.

Yes, this is intentional. The game is in closed alpha, meaning it's inaccessible to those without game keys.

I'd make it public, but I'm not sure there's a way to keep downloads accessible to those with game keys that way.

If you're getting a password required or 404 trying to use the key/link from winning the giveaway, please PM me. IndieDB appears to have glitched and cut some of the keys short.

The itch.io keys are always cut off here on indiedb, but the full link does show up in emails.

I've tried to bring it to their attention in the past but haven't received a response.

The Itch page is password-locked because it's supposed to be a closed alpha; far as I'm aware, there's no way to make a page public without enabling people to download/buy the game. If you really want to play, and didn't win a key with the giveaway, you may be in luck, as I'm probably going to be manually giving out some extras at some point in the future.

If someone you play a lot of games with won a key, get them to contact me with proof, and I'll gladly drop one.

The Itch.IO page is password-locked to stop people who didn't win access to the closed alpha from buying the game and such; it's a safety measure for the game, and for me - I may very well not have all the legal mumbojumbo set up yet for selling products.

Would you mind sending me the link in a PM? I have a file with all the key-links, so I can verify against the file, make sure you're clicking the right thing, etc.

-=PSA, PLEASE READ=-
If the key is giving you a 404, or a password-required message, please PM me. IndieDB has cut some of the keys short, and it means the link you recieved is invalid.

Show me the link you've got in the PM, and I'll find the key you were supposed to get, and send it in a reply.
