Oh dear ,this was fun when it first started ,just a few people entering.
Now the scammers are onboard it will probably lengthen the odds of winning a game to close to zero :(
Anyways ,good to hear you're at least trying to stop them.
A lot of people will try and use a certain Browser or ip-changers to register multiple accounts too ,i think there is a way to block a lot of that.
Even the steam-api can be abused on some giveaway sites with peeps having multiple steam accounts.
We have started eliminating the scammers and have already captured 100+ and continue to analyse the logs. We have way more cheat detection than just IP changes ;)
Oh and this is meant to be a competition, not a guaranteed win. So more people is a good thing because it means we can get access to more games and prizes. I know it doesn't mean you win as much, but we try and make it as easy as possible to enter each giveaway.
yeh ,though i've been using moddb and by extension indiedb for a long time.
This is a nice new addition which is actually more important for flagging up new and interesting games.
