Zodiac Angel is a single-player, dark, third-person shooter with some horror elements. Emphasis is placed on gore and creative ways to dispatch of enemies hindering Zodi, the protagonist, from rescuing captive extraterrestrials.
My name is Jackson. I'm a self-taught artist and solo developer who uses Unreal Engine. I'm working on a dark TPS with some planned horror elements. I've pretty much coded the foundation of my combat and gore systems which was a major milestone for me. Only a few aspects of the systems need to be fine-tuned.
I suspended development temporarily to promote my Kickstarter campaign so that I can better fund the project. Otherwise, it will be prolonged due to financial constraints. This is my first game, and now I'm thinking that perhaps I should have started a much simpler project, but I've learned so much in the process. (I feel like I can make a metroidvania in like 3 weeks, because it seems much less complicated. Nonetheless, I'll finish what I initially committed to).
