The Zod Engine is an open source remake of the 1996 game Z by the Bitmap Brothers with already many improvements over the original. It is written in C++ using the SDL library for Linux / Windows / Etc.

In game menus have been added making the game incredibly easier to manage. These menus replace all of the in game command line functions which could some times be confusing. Also some important bug fixes have come out.

In game menus are now added allowing the game to rise dramatically towards a polished mature release. Also a few important bug fixes have been installed including faster load times particularly for windows.

The current theme of updates is an attempt to expand the game's accessibility to players and try and reach a mature state. So this includes expected updates such as an official mac build, an official android build (it already compiles for the android), and translations. Also improvements to the map editor are scheduled.

* Jump to control group if number pressed twice
* Factories on fort territories do not auto repair if the fort is destroyed
* Destroyed factories reset their productions
* Misc bug fixes
