Description
Zipper is a 2D Platformer game where you control the titular character, who is a renegade training robot, and are escaping from the dark and twisted research facility that they were created from. Dash and jump your way across the level and find the keys to make your escape.
History
Zipper started out as a capstone project for my university. My main inspiration behind the game was the Mega Man X series, which can be seen in Zipper's movement kit. While developing the game I strove to capture the movement and rhythm reminiscent of the Mega Man X games. Once the movement code was completed, I focused on created art assets and established level goals.
