Zero Killed is a game about tactics and cooperation. In such games it is hard to have fun playing in uneven or incomplete teams, so there is a high need for good, inteligent AI, which can compete with real players on an equal level.

In todays' gameplay movie we want to show you examples of how our AI behaves in the most demanding game mode, which is Data Steal. As you will see in the movie:

  • they will move in formation, minimizing risk of taking heavy loss,
  • coming out from a narrow exit, they can quickly form up to maximize firepower and minimize the risk of being massively hit by grenade launcher,
  • they will defend crucial positions and cover most of the free space during the data steal executing,
  • depending on the situation, they will try to attack positionally or rush against a smaller defense.

The AI behaviour varies by the characters class. For example, the snipers will tend to place themselves high and have a nice view on enemy movement, while heavy armored tanks will shorten distance and get right in the middle of the fight.

The bots are designed to explore different paths and while they are also affected by real players positions on the map, the replayability is very high. In one of the upcoming updates the bots will gain possibility to interact with the environment, pick up items from the ground and use them against the opponents, so we believe the AI will be one of the greatest assets in our game.
