Zeno Clash DLC this weekend!
At ACE Team we’re happy to announce that this weekend we will be releasing three new challenge levels for Zeno Clash called ‘The Pit’. Players can again compete for leaderboard scores and achievements in these three new scenarios where gravity is the enemy and taking a wrong step can be fatal. Destructible floors and traps await the skilled who want to reach the bottom of the pit alive.
The new content is coming with even more additional value: ACE Team will release the free DLC with a 50% off weekend promotion, so players who still haven’t played the game can step into the fabuluos world of Zenozoik for a great price.

Woohoo! Go ACE Team! Is it me or is it the only Dev who's actually fulfilling the promise of bringing free DLC? The only free DLC I can think of is some maps for Halo 3.

I think you need to learn what DLC is. DLC is downloadable content *made by the people who made the game*. It is NOT mods. Mods are mods, DLC is DLC. Grow up and read some wikipedia.
I think you all need to learn what DLC is... Go and google it and you will find out it means Dancing Llama Club, if you make an account which is FREE then you get all the DLC stuff free.

There are a lot of free DLCs. For example Valve games like Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead, FEAR 2 (PC), Empire Total War, Unreal Tournament 3 and so on. The thing is that there is no difference between a Patch with new content and free DLC.
I was thinking about buying this game. With this DLC and the 50% I'm probably gonna get it. Looks really fun.

They put time into extras for the fans. The way it should be.
There was a time where we called it "Bonus pack" or "Bonus addon". Total Annihilation totally put this concept on the map with their in-house unit addons.
well, I don't blame them, they are asked by major gaming websites, showing that console-itis is hitting PCs hard. and I'm sure it helps saying it's "free DLC" instead of content included in patches (such as Dawn of War II maps, Empire:TW units)

DLC is by nature, free. We aren't console gamers. Stop trying to turn the word DLC into a marketing term. You say free if your talking about something that isn't free normally, not something that is almost always free. The gaming world really is going down hill because of companies like this.

How can you criticise ACE Team for giving away free content to their fanbase? If they just called it "DLC", then people may assume that it was paid, like that of Fallout 3, or E:TW.
Am I right in thinking that you have some personal vendetta against paid DLC, and so hate it when DLC is termed as free?
I assume you said that because insaine minority of games that have released DLC have released more paid downloadable content than the thousands and thousands of gigabytes of free DLC you can find here on ModDB created by everyday users? DLC is by nature free.
And yes, you can critisize a company for contributing to the mass marketing and takeover and abuse of a term.

Can people stop with the arguements about DLC? It's free, and they were nice enough to give it to us free, when they could have charged it. So stop your complaining and be grateful.
