Zandronum is a free open-source advanced multiplayer sourceport capable of running various games such as Doom, Doom II, Final Doom, Heretic, Hexen, and as well as others online. It originated from Skulltag, which was based on ZDoom and its counterpart, GZDoom.

Description

Enhanced Beamflashlight is an slight improvement over The Zombie Killer's beamflashlight.pk3. In this version the light beam is 3 times longer and wider, but it's still as low-lag as the original. This mod is NOT intended as an ultra realistic flashlight with shadow casting, etc. It's main intended audience are those who want an opengl-renderer low-lag flashlight for multiplayer. (Yet this still works with singleplayer.) Some other minor NET code tweaks had been done to the original so it's usable on Zandronum 3 servers without the need of sv_cheats being ON. The flashlight is equipped by default to any player.

Out of the 6 flashlight mods I tested this one is the best so far. The rest of the flashlight mods have no reach whatsoever and have no way to customize their reach and wideness.
