"Z Warrior Chronicles" is an independent project being worked on by Xatoku based off of the popular Dragonball Z franchise by Akira Toriyama. This project has been going since early April 2011, and has gone through many revisions along the way, but the story elements are now being worked on and progress is booming. The aim of this project is to emulate the Dragonball Z world in an Action/RPG type scenario,and tell the story of the Z Fighters as best it can. The gameplay is best described as a combination of Legacy of Goku 2 & Dragonball Z Sagas on the GBA & PS2 respectively, along with a ton of Anime inspired gameplay elements as well. Production is naturally at a slow but steady pace due to the development team being only me, but I've invested all of my free time into this project and have no intention on stopping any time soon.

I don't really have to. Assuming I model the world "animatic," the water will reflect what it sees. The waves are a bit realistic, sure, but I don't believe they clash with the style too much.

You should deal with those textures if you know what I mean.
Maybe you shouldn cut the land into a strait line,create a bit more realistic edge.It's should be like somwhere water and land connets like when you are on beach and water comes back adn forward and at others should be somehow different and not even.Make it progresive when you come from water...

Though Goku isn't on par with Jesus, Xatoku might be. Great work man. Glad to hear you are "ditching" the Chibi style and though I do go against you, my boxing gloves were stolen so... I can't do much.
If you're quick enough, you can fight me on the ZWarriorchronicles channel. We're just about to test multiplayer and record it lol.
