WOODPUNK is a fast-paced action game, set in the Middle Ages but using futuristic weaponry and tools. In WOODPUNK, the player can fight against well over a hundred enemies onscreen at a time, using over 1400 different weapons, which are generated procedurally by the game from unlockable weapon parts. With both melee and ranged combat, random and fully destructible levels, several game modes and co-op multiplayer, we are sure that it will be widely enjoyed by any action game enthusiasts out there!

WoodPunk is a retro roguelike shooter with exceptionally well-done graphics and animations.
The game has a number of worlds that have a variety of levels. They range from surviving waves of enemies to protecting a machine for a limited amount of time. If you die on a level, you start that world from scratch but carry over any scrap you accumulated.
You spend the scrap on upgrading your tech tree, which influences the kind of weapons you can craft, and you start with two randomized weapons each level. One gun and one melee. You also get a variety of suits that can change your stats and give you new powers to use.
One of the things I love most is that you don't take damage simply by touching most enemies. They have actual attacks and animations that they have to strike you with. Its another notch in the games craftmanship.
Woodpunk gives you a true feeling of nostalgia when playing it. It captures what we all loved about retro games. But with crisp graphics, great animation, and slick gameplay. Its frantic, fun and can even be played in local co-op.
