Christmas Patch V1.01.00
Hi guys!
This is our first big patch, from V1.00.11 to V1.01.00. We've included a lot of new content. The big aim behind this update is introducing seasonal content, as well as "scrap" (in-game currency) dump for players to invest their currency once the tech-tree is completed.
Let's start Patch V1.01.00 Rundown
As new content we've added a Christmas theme to WOODPUNK, and as Christmas is about paying, the player must pay for it! (With scrap, no loot-box drama here)
SANTAPUNK
- We had community feedback from those players who have completed the tech tree. They've been accumulating scrap with nothing to invest it in, and they felt that their progression was decaying. To attack this problem we decided that when the next suit was introduced, pleayers will have to invest 50,000 scrap to unlock it.
- SANTAPUNK is just a cosmetic change to the original Aquinas suit. SANTAPUNK shoots gift-wrapped bombs and piercing candy cane as ammunition.
- Health-packs are now gift wrapped (as there's no gift as life itself)
Christmas Event
- Each arenas' tile set is now Christams themed to represent the holiday's festivities, r
- The lab/walking menu has also been decorated for the Christmas aswell!
- Spearmen, during the Holidays, will carry candy cane instead of their usual spears, becoming candymen.
Options
We've received a lot of feedback through our Discord and content creators that are option menu was a bit lacking, therefore, we decided to expand it in the following patches.
Fully customizable controls, music and sound options between several others!
We'll continue preparing new content for WOODPUNK as we receive feedback from our community! We believe that the best way we can better the game is by listening to the player feedback. We receive a lot of feedback from the community, some ideas are obtainable, others are not as much. In the past weeks we've covered how we managed through feedback
