Hi there!

The time has come. I already spoke about our cars and their properties in my previous post Choose your car! Today I'm here to tell you about our drivers, their properties and skills and how to combine them. Pay attention because today we're entering into Formula Wincars' heart.

The drivers have all different properties to complement those already seen concerning cars. Each driver is different and has a distinct skill level depending on the terrain surface. Yes, for sure you will end up having a favourite driver (or more than one) but in certain circuits you will need to choose other drivers according to the circuit predominant surface. It will be fundamental to choose the best possible combinations of car and driver for each circuit.

Besides, our drivers have some skills to consider. The most evident ones are already known, turbo and stomp. There's no need to explain them again. But drivers have other more subtle skills not less important.

Don't miss them!

Hit:
When two cars collide, the driver with the heaviest car will hit the other one, making him lose speed. The hit effect will depend on the driver's strength.
Draft: Pursuing other cars is easy to enter into draft zone. Depending on the driver's draft skill it will be easier (or not) to take advantage of the draft and gain some extra speed.

Did you think this is all Formula Wincars has to offer? Well, there is still much more, and I am confident you will be positively surprised. Each driver has a unique special skill. This special skill will be charged by gathering coins during the race, and it will be leveled up with each use, so it will be very important to get as many coins as possible to reach the highest level as soon as possible during the race.

You ask which are those special skills?

This is what we have up to now:

Speed Wings
→ It allows to avoid terrain penalties.
Rocket Rush → A super powerful extra turbo.
Punisher Rhyme → It desmoralize the rivals, making them slower.
Infernal Spin → A fire explossion to make your enemies spin.
Oil Paddle → They will be an obstacle to difficult the rivals driving.
Double Size → Temporal invulnerability due to a huge size change.

The next characters to be incorporated will add two very important skills, given they will allow to take certain shortcuts. I am speaking about Turbo Jump and Half Size. But this is not everything. Formula Wincars will be constantly growing, incorporating new drivers every month to reach a number of 20 by the end of 2015.

What? You still hadn't noticed that drivers skills can be combined when playing teams mode?

So they can. When a player uses a special skill while playing in teams mode, it remainse available for his teammates.

So, if your driver is able to jump and you decide to use this skill to take a shortcut, all of your teammates will be able to take this shortcut (or another one) for a while. I imagine you are aleady excited about the possibilities. A team including driver skills such as Turbo Jump, Infernal Spin, Rocket Rush and Oil Paddle seems as a serious threaten for anyone.
But of course, with more than 20 drivers and their skills to be chosen, anything may happen. There are infinite possibilities.
