You are a despondant survivor stuck deep in the Canadian Yukon (originally in Alaska; work related, etc). There has been a mysterious EMP blast (solar flare[s]) that has rendered the world void of electricity. The world has turned into darkness, save for the light show in the sky (aurora borealis). Riots have insued, anarchy reign's. Most of the population has dissapeared in the aftermath. WHAT REMAINS are desperate survivors that will do anything to survive. Armed with only a bowie knife, your wits and your faithful k9 companion, you must survive the elements/nature (frostbite, wild animals, etc) and other survivors by gathering what you can from nearby houses and stores and hold up your ground or as long as possible. Goal is to get back to his daughter in the states....
