Crashes? I'm working on it... - Fixed Thread - WazHack

Two users have reported frequent crashes with versions up to an including 1.0.2. It seems to be something that only happens on a few systems, but rest assured I won't leave a bug like that in the game.

I'm experiencing these frequent crashes as well, quite frustrating.. It hasn't stopped me from playing, but losing progress is surely not a fun thing ^^;
If i can help in any way I'd love to know.

The new 1.0.4 release (should appear in the next 24 hours) has at least one cause of the crash fixed. It also has better logging and bug reporting, so once you can get hold of that version, I'd like to know how it compares for you.

I'd like to add a short question to that.
Any chance other resolutions will be supported for windowed mode in the future?

I stream things through Xsplit often, but it doesn't recognize the game in fullscreen, so I'm forced into a 1280x720 res on a 1920x1080 screen :<

Eh.. Another thing.

My favorite class to currently play is the white witch, who starts with a lightning spell, this keeps killing my pet kitty, was this intended :p?

1.0.4 is up.

My plan is to start at a low price and only increase it (for new buyers) when I add more to the game. Think of it as the exact opposite of day 1 DLC (which I hate).

If you hold Shift while running, you'll get a resolution dialog. Not sure what it will give you (it's not officially supported).

I'll look into the xsplit thing. Edit: do you mean it doesn't work with Xsplit GameSource? Have you tried some Alt-Tabbing to get it to work?

Yes, it's deliberate. It makes you more careful with the spell - and it I s a powerful spell. If your cat is near you and you target a creature far away, or a group of creatures a bit nearer, you'll find it doesn't have the power to arc all the way back to the kitten. Or you can role play a cold heart and just let poor kitty die (alignments don't do much yet, but when they do, killing you pet may have consequences).

Thanks for the resolution tip, works perfectly! (Edit: Nevermind, gets stuck on "Loading" when loading characters, i can't actually load at all anymore.. Trying to delete my character now. x.x )

As for Xsplit, yes i meant game source, alt tabbing didn't seem to work for me, although It's less of an issue now that i can adjust my windowed resolution.
I haven't crashed in 1.04 yet, I'll let you know again in a while, to make sure It's resolved for me !

Alright well, i can currently "create" a character, but after i save and quit, i can't play it again, i just click the character and get stuck on "Loading"
So the games currently unplayable to me x.x

Sadly I have the exact same problem. Loading a game stopped working after 1.04.
I tried both an old 1.02 save and a new character. Both get stuck on the "loading" screen indefinitely. Verifying and a fresh install didn't help either.

No crashes thus far, but I think I even preferred them to the new "infinite loading" feature

My specs are: Windows 7 64bit / NVidia 460 GTX / Intel Q6600 2.4 GHz / 4 GB RAM / on-board Realtek sound

Edit: I still don't understand how (and if at all) the Desura key / password can be used to log in to the browser version. Is that even possible?

Something went terribly wrong with the automation of version updates.
