Washed Ashore is a multiplayer re-creation of the game Stranded 2. With new features and mechanics.
The gameplay is simple, and I'm not going to suger-coat it. You're stuck on an Island and must survive by any means necessary, crazy right?
From hunting, gathering, crafting, farming, building, and anything else you can do to keep yourself and/or your tribe alive.
With day/night cycles, rain, possible weather changes. And events such as pirates visiting the island, could happen.
Washed Ashore will also include other gamemodes, such as Last Man Standing. Where you must face off against other players on various islands, crafting tools to fight with one-another. And the last person left alive, wins.
More info will be posted as the game progresses. This is a one man team, and will take a while before it's in a playable state.
This week I started work on implementing the spawning of random items and resources around the island(s).
Right now sea-shells, stones, pebbles, and stray branches will randomly spawn around the coasts.
I'm going to be expanding upon this quite a bit, so that animals, resources, collectables, and a few other things will randomly be generated around the islands.
I've also started implementing more structures that player's can build. Such as this watch-tower.
Pretty nice view.
There's also been work done on the first island. And I've also included a new island to the east!
Swimming to distant islands will not be smart though. As swimming long enough will drain your fatigue enough to the point of drowning. Either that or a shark will find you to be a nice meal.
So instead of risking your life attempting to travel to a new island, you can build a raft, or boat to safely get you there.
That's all for now!
