Hello and welcome to our third field report!
Since the last report, we've been out on another field trip in order to capture textures and reference photos to be used while creating various models. We sat out to capture more of the agricultural fields this time instead of the woods as we did last time. The wheatfields had just been harvested (which they also had during the battle of Antietam). That allowed us to get some nice ground texture photos. After the wheatfield, we found a cornfield and got some rather nice reference pictures we'll put to great use when modelling the corn plants. We also came by an old church where we captured several useful textures like the base difuse texture for the Dunker church.
The iconic Dunker church is now nearly completed. It still needs a bit of details, and as of now, it has no furniture. The church is one of the iconic scenes of the battle. Others already implemented or planned are: Burnside bridge, Pry house and sunken road/bloody lane.
This third field report also marks the launch of our website at www.WarofRights.com . The site is VERY much lacking in content at the moment, but we'll promise to amp things up as the development goes on. Until then, feel free to check it out. If you're interested in joining the development, there's a rather detailed description of our vision, our goal and what we expect of new members on the website.
Us getting our own website does not mean we'll stop updating our moddb page at all. The website and our forum (which we'll get online soon), however, is the place to go to for the most up to date info about the game and the development.
Until next time, have a good one, and thanks for visiting our moddb.com page!

Just remember to keep up with moddb. To many teams say they will but then they just stop updating it. I never bother with specific websites for games because moddb is so convenient in that all the updates for all the games/mods I am watching are all in one place.
We won't forget moddb. The website, however, allow us to get a bit more specific with certain things, like having a "Join the development" section. This is the main reason for us launching it this early - we need more guys to join the project.
Ah, that makes sense.
That pic of the church looks great btw.
Thank you. We've just adjusted the saturation level in order to eliminate some of the cartoony looks we've been getting. The screenshots from here on out should have a rather different feel to them.
Did you ever check out our civil war modifications for Empire total war, napoleon total war (we remade the whole antietam battlefield with all the high quality landmarks like millers farm house, dunker church), our mod for mount and blade and stuff?
We are doing civil war stuff since 7 years now, so we could help you with lot of stuff :)
I've sent you a pm :)
