So I have been walking around in Wander and looked at the nature but now I don't understand how the morphing system works. Do I have to find something to morph, like a tab? If that is the case, where do I find these? All help much appreciated.

you do have to find runes (glyphs) for each avatar beside the tree we all start with. they are scattered around the islands. all can be found on the current start island. hint: they are not extremely far from where you start.

I'm having a bit of difficulty in finding any additional glyphs. I spent a good deal of time wandering about enjoying the scenery, however I feel like I have no idea what I'm even looking for. Flowers? Glyphs? Something else?

There is a tutorial being written up to help newcomers ease into the game. Essentially in your travels you will hear the hym of the stones and they will lure you in.
Plus Sarah and I are working on the environment so there is suggested paths for you to Wander along and have a higher chance of stumbling along the major points ;)

Fantastic! I ended up finding the Griffin and finally got a chance to see the bigger picture. Looks fantastic!

Typical - just after posting, I find a glyph. :D Fun game!

I'm finding domes with lore stones inside and my 'morph flower' gets a white painted slash around it when I'm inside, which makes me think maybe these are the morph glyphs? But if so, I have no idea how to 'activate' the glyph? Do I need to do anything when I find one of these glyphs or will the new morph be automagically added to my morph menu?

just started the game and started trying every key on my keyboard, F1 instantly teleported me to a Human rune, and pressing the down key on my Xbox 360 controllers D-pad turned me into a gryphon despite never having found the rune to do so!

I dont know what this corresponds to on a normal keyboard though.

Sounds like you found something we forgot to turn off after the last PAX we went to :)

I find the morphing stones or glyphs best by listening for the singing. You can hear her from quite a distance (sometimes I hear her in my head when the game isn't even on!) and if you turn your character toward her, the singing gets louder. That's how you get which direction to go in. Just get close enough to one of these stones and poof, you have a morph. Sounds like people are getting the idea. Welcome, everyone! :-)

I morphed in to the griffin(?). flew around for a while. landed, morphed back into the elf, and now it won't let me morph back into the griffin. Am I doing something wrong? When I click on the Griffin symbol after pressing M it just makes the sound the elf makes.

Psychostick I am having the exact same problem. Perhaps we should post in the Beta Bug forum?
