Somehow it reminds me a little bit to halo...but just a little bit... but i really like this one more ^^
Halo is definitely an inspiration in our armor design. Glad that we were able to get far enough from Halo though to make it unique!

is there multiplayer?
No, I believe this has already been said, but we are not planning on a multiplayer. The reason is simply because it is too much content for our small team to make.

Well, cost is another issue entirely, but mainly it is because you have to essentially make two games when you do both multiplayer and singleplayer, at least in terms of content.

Well it is certainly very different and I like both, but imo for your setting he is right. This armor is better.
It would be awesome if kyle wore armor more like this just without the helmet.... Just a thought :D
Well, although I love the thought, that just isn't going to happen. There is a reason behind this beyond the fact that he has already been modeled (not finished texturing). In the lore, the higher tech armor of Kyle actually makes a lot more sense and it was set up this way. That said, I am not ready to release the details on that yet, but just know that there is a valid story reason behind all our choices.
Since Metroid Prime i'm always in favor for Characters wearing a helmet in first person perspective.
A cool and natural way to implement the HUD, possibilities for weather effects and it gives a much better overall atmosphere.
Beside that it wouldn't be very logical to protect someone with a higly advanced armor and leave the most vurnable Part without protection.
I have to agree with you there.
I really dig the character designs you have posted thus far, but have to inquire a little into the enemies. Is the game mostly going to be human vs human or will there be separate species or animals as well that the main player has to fight. Just saying it might be something to think about as something like a mutated animal could be very realistic in the setting the game has been placed in.
Long time no see...anyways, there are robots as well as mutations to fight. And, there might be some other more exotic enemies we aren't ready to talk about yet...hint hint.
