Wade's boring life is about to get alot more COLOURFUL. Using the unique colour mechanic; merge, repel and attract your way through the dream scapes and help Wade escape his own personal hell. - Interact with the environment and enemies using the unique colour mechanic to traverse the worlds. - Using hand crafted art and traditional styles used to realise the dream scapes. - Discover Wade's past and present through comic book collectables to unveil the troubles, heart ache and how Wade ended up in an abstract world.
The focus group was conducted earlier today with a select group of people this is the first time the game has been played by people not part of our group or the lecturer who set the project intially, though the feedback was mostly positive there were a few minor issues that were easilly amended.
A load of new features were added to the game as well including the addition of "the wheel of justice" and the cutscene assets that will be included in the game.

Played this today during a focus testing session. Its really good fun, at the moment it is tuned for perhaps the more hardcore players, but I really think thats where these game fits. There was talk about making it easyer for players, and sure you may attract more casual players but you also alienate those who want a game to be challanging, making a hard but functional game is an awful lot more difficult than making something thats easy, brainless and unrewarding to complete.
I love it as it is, I strongly urge you to not tweak it too much just because half of that focus group clearly hadn't put in there hours on Mario as kids :-).

Had a major heart attack earlier in the week, but with good graft and the dedicated members we came out of hell and we're riding high..... ish! Stay tuned for more news and dev vids and soon there will be gameplay that we can treat you wonderful people to :D

Hey all, Lead Designer here! I hope you all enjoy watching our baby come to life. This game is going to be a showcase of cool art, clever level design and shed load of coding. I hope you guys will be looking forward to seeing this come together in the end. Whilst I'm here i'd like to make a shout out to all the hard workers in the team and without you guys this wouldn't come together.
