Virtual SlotCars (VSC) is a game in which you build and race slot cars. You will be tweaking your car components, testing them on track, setting your throttle controls, and finally racing your chosen car to earn coin and gain experience which will be used to unlock and buy higher level components for your car, enabling it to handle better and go even faster, or track parts to construct any of the 26 tracks with up to 8 lanes or create your very own custom made tracks from scratch.
At the start you will be provided with a basic car and set of track parts which will allow you to practise and compete in entry level races. As you get familiar with car handling and maintenance you will soon be winning races and gaining experience and coin. Before you know it you will be able to challenge the next level of AI opponents on longer tracks with more lanes at even faster speeds, as you work towards the ultimate level of Ace, racing at potential speeds well in excess of 70 km/h. Alternatively, you can spend your time and coin creating new elaborate custom tracks in the track editor. The options are endless.
Race against friends in Multiplayer with your own personalised car. Host custom track circuits that you made, with your own set of racing rules and car configuration limits. Create your own car body mods and import them into the game for your friends to see and race against. While VSC offers its own track-set parts, it also offers full modding support allowing you to create your very own blue-print to track-set solution, to create any specific track you can dream of. If you find you do not have the track or car body you want to race with, and you are not a modder, the option to obtain your perfect car or track will be made available through the community of modders.

We have some exciting news for you!
FailRace, a very popular Youtube Gamer and Reviewer, has made a great "Let's play" video of VSC which has received over 11,600 views in the past week. The video was very well received and many people are asking for him to continue on and make a series which we would love to see! It could be something to exposé all the latest and greatest additions to VSC and to measure how well the game is being received and viewed to better guide our progress. If you want to have FailRace make more VSC videos, one way to influence that is to click the like button next to those youtube viewers that have asked the same thing in the comments section, there are a quite few requests there already, or write your own!
The final Steam Achievement Candidates have now been posted and we are getting ready to publish. Now is the time to speak up on the forums about them if you have something to say, we would welcome any input. Below is a mock up showing how some of them will look in Steam.
VSC has seen a 66% boost in average player time versus August 2017. This is proof that more people are playing and enjoying VSC, and hopefully it will result in more multiplayer matches taking place. We are thinking about creating a discord server for easier coordination and communication between players for organising matches - tell us what you think!
Our forums are looking a little empty recently, why not join up and speak your mind, show your works or share your ideas and experience, and help us make VSC better. Please join up at the forums. We will hopefully be adding a Modding download section soon so people can share their creations easier.
See you on the track...
We have another update for VSC which caters to the requests of some players and some new refinements for out-of-track physics, which should really alter how you burst past de-slotted cars, more caution will now be needed ;).
VSC rev 0.9.9.2634.1587
Removed any jitter for out of track cars.
Adjusted parameters for out of track car collision. Travelling cars feel collision much more, they can even de-slot because of it.
Player can now setup controller/view controller settings during round start (semaphore countdown)
P.S. Please keep the reviews coming!
VSC was released on Steam Early Access on June 9th 2017. Since then we have published 14 updates and player numbers and reviews are still growing!
VSC now has its own News Feed with the latest updates affecting the game.
We are proud to announce VSC was Green lit on the 22nd January 2016...
