Earth and the core worlds are suffering. Overpopulation and lack of resources are leading to unrest and desperation. That's where you come in. You've been recruited to colonize a planet more than 4 light years away. It's your job to save the human race from its own greed and consumption. The game is experienced from a top-down view allowing for the deliberate and creative crafting of every item, vehicle, and structure in use. Using a scriptable and dynamic artificial intelligence the AI Overlord will change up every aspect of the game. Nothing stays the same forever, making Worlds an addictively, dynamic experience with limitless replayability.

It has been a while since our last update and I am here to fill in the gap. We have had a lot going on to the game and it is very exciting stuff actually. Here I go...

First I will start with the fact that we now have the ability for the player to be attacked and die. This is huge for a survival game as the fear of death drives the player. Here you can see that a hoard of bugs has overtaken the player and they are being hit by the bugs.


Next up is we actually started putting together the crate you get dropped off on the planet in. Right now it is empty but the floor and walls are in and your new game starts you off on a huge planet with your new found home.


Up next we have fleshed out how biomes will start to come together in a great way. Here you can see some red crystals on the edge of a forest. The creation of this biome is done completely through our C# modding api and is very exciting to see come together like this.


We also plugged in some UI. yes you can finally see your health on the screen. What good is being able to die if you cannot tell how close to death you are? In this screen you can see the first pass at the GUI to show your health bar and you can also see the biome in a zoomed out view that we discussed earlier.


We have also made large strides in character customization. We demonstrated this by simply taking the hat off the cowboy. The idea is that every gun you equip, every piece of armor, your hair, your skin tone, will all adjust the look of your player. Take a look...


What good are crystals if you cannot gather them huh? Well we started that system too. We can place down miners and start to gather crystals that they mine out of the ground for us. Here are a couple shots of our first mining successes.



Let me tell you one last cool thing, we are streaming in a procedurally created planet that is absolutely huge. You can seamlessly run around and see and do everything I described to you here.
