We re a small indie company and have been working on this for one and a half years. It's great to see how it evolved over time.
The inspiration for a party game came after playing Fibbage and other similar games. We think it really embodies our love of party games and music.
So basically it's like Fibbage + S>

Verse Surf is our first PC and Steam game, and we worked on it mainly in our spare time (the one benefit of Covid lockdown was finishing this game). It can be played using Steam Remote Play or other screen & sound sharing software, so you can share it with your friends online.

Some tips I would give to myself if I were starting over:

  • There's such a thing as a game back-end as a service, check out PlaFab or GameSparks. You don't have to build everything from scratch.

  • Test your ideas early and often.
  • Arm yourself with lots of patience when dealing with licensing and legal issues.
  • Great teams make great games ❤.

We're currently doing a beta event on discord, so come talk to us.

We hope you have fun with it!
