Venatorum is a dinosaur based survival horror game, where the player must use their wits to survive on a planet of prehistoric predators. gameplay involves the player wandering through the wilderness and abandoned structures in search of equipment and ultimately a way to get off the planet. stealth is a primary focus of the game, as few creatures in the game can be fought off with equipment available to the player. each animal has different behaviors and methods of hunting, and it is up to the player to become familiar with the enemies encountered to make it through the wilderness alive.
