As I continue development I am getting closer to releasing the game onto Steam Greenlight. However I would like to continue to refine the game mechanics, and make the entry into the game as effortless as possible. This is why I need people to play the game and give me some invaluable insight on their experiences on playing the game.
You can leave comments, bugs, suggestion, etc by using the game's forum, in-game bug submission form, or email. I would greatly appreciate any feedback you can give, as it will greatly improve the game.
One of the biggest additions to the game is the in-game patcher! This new feature allows the game to load in all the game's art and sound assets in real time while playing the game, making the initial download of the game very small. This way you only need to download a very small amount of files to start playing the game for the first time. In fact, the initial patch to play is less than 75 MB! The rest of the game is downloaded as it is needed.
Cleaning up the interfaces, UI, and making sure the interactive tutorial is easy and understandable are high priorities for me, as well as adding more content to the game of course.
Some technical notes:
- Fixed a massive server stability bug which was slowing down, and sometimes freezing the server.
- The game server is running in debug mode so at times the game seem to load/run more slowly, but don't worry, everything still works fine!
- The game patches through the game server as well, so when you download the installer it may take a while to download the whole game through the game's auto patcher. Just be patient, I do apologize! Again, I am testing server stability and other aspects of the game so the game, and the in-game patcher may seem to run a bit slow.
