Patch version 0.1.15 for Vantage is available, download the installer here:
A complete overhaul of the craft and skill unlock system have been done, you can now unlock crafts/skills through a tech tree as you raise your skills.
- The crafts and skills unlock system has been completely reworked, there are now two difficuly levels to choose from at character creation. The realism option will implement the "tech tree" style unlock system, while the "easy" mode will still allow you to have all skills unlocked to play with. There will tooltips in the skill descriptions that tell you what skills and crafts will be unlocked next. Of course this is the first run through so unlock locations/levels are all just test values.
- A new skill added, general tool use, which is a useful skill needed to unlock new skills and crafts
- Oak and Fir trees will now correctly spawn wood on the tree and drop wood nearby
- Updated the patch window with more accurate messages regarding connecting to the server, and will explain what happened if the client cannot connect.
- Food and water now give more health over time
- Fixed a bug where a huge amount of packets were being sent once a character was created and loaded into the game.
- Fixed an object scaling issue when throwing certain items several times in a row.
- other various bug fixes and tweaks
From here on out I will be doing more play testing to weed out bugs, and slowly adding more content as well. Again, if you ever encounter any bugs, please let me know through here, the forums or email. Letting me know how you produce the bug as well is extremely helpful as well.

Will their be an auto updater soon, Installing little 1.mb updates is not annoying, but hard to keep up with all my other games too <3
I don't understand the question. Once you install the installer the game does auto update and downloads all the files automatically once there is an update.
Are you referring to an "always on" steam-style updater? I have no plans for something like that just yet sorry.
Will there be an offline Option or private game Settings? I'm asking because I'm not the type for those competetive mmo's where you get killed by the first guy that crosses your path. I'm more intrested in playing with friends I already know.
Currently I have no plans to make the server public. However at some point it may an option. Right now there really is no Player-killing or animals attacking. Its mostly harvest, craft, and survive.

I seem to have run into a problem, the patcher opens and says connected to server and the bottom right buttons says "patching" but there is not transfer rate information, nor status or info and it never seems to end? :c
The server is most likely experiencing issues. I have restarted the server so give it another try. I will be working on these issues starting today. Sorry about that. I have so many people playing the game now that new and fun bug issues are appearing!
