Completed our first class preview video showcasing the final player forms! Hope you enjoy it!

Hi everyone, Randal here. We've been hard at work on the game, and I'm pleased to announce that one of the final player forms is nearing completion. I had to stay up all night to get it (and the video) done, so I apologize if I randomly start babbling in fishspeak.

Here's the link to the video! Indiedb.com

The "class" this time is called the leviathan, a form accessed through a steady diet of vegetable matter and a little protein to spice it up. Like most of the herbivores, they have stellar defenses, but unlike the other two herbivores, the leviathan has a mid-range headbutt attack that helps it cover ground quickly. Also, its mouth is the largest of any planned player form, giving it the ability to suck in food from safe distances. It'll also make it easy to out-gather your foes in multiplayer mode, where other players will constantly try to take your food from you. There's an additional ultimate ability for the leviathan not in the video, because it's not quite ready for public consumption yet - but he just looks so stylish that I can't resist posting it now. I mashed together this awesome normal mapped toon shader to make his throat folds pop... well, anyway, that's not important. What's important is that I sleep now.

Please let me know your comments and observations. This is our first publicly distributed game ever; I'm actually still in school until the end of the semester. We've got a lot to learn.

Also, I'd better get in my obligatory self promotion, sorry:
