Understanding - Beta 1
Full VersionHere is the full install of Understanding! This is our first release of it so there may be some bugs or unfinished areas. Give it a try and let us know...
Understanding was developed for a Mother's Day themed gamejam competition in 2011. We were experimenting with the process of creating a small, evocative gameplay experience, related to our mothers and the feelings we have for them. The game is not challenge based, it simply asks you to explore the environment and gradually discover new aspects of your memories. We encourage you to check it out and share your thoughts.

I'm sorry I can only give this a low rating, as it was in my eyes just by far too short to receive anything higher. I've played through it, you can see it here Youtube.com , and I understand that this was meant as a mother's day gift but I can't really rate it any higher.
However, I'm tracking this and if ever some more part or anything comes out, I'll be there to play again and possibly rate higher :)
Work on the lighting...I think that is whats keeping this from looking visually appealing.
Will there be any horror or violence?
Sadly no! This was more of a small, heartfelt "exerience" involving our feelings for our mothers. It's a nonviolent exploration game and it's only a few minutes long. That being said, we still hope you can enjoy it!
