Description

Undergrowth is an open-ended PC farming sim with a survival/craft heart - as such, you will find the best aspects of each genre mixed in with a few new and revitalized mechanics! The game has been developed from scratch using the D programming Language so extensive mod support could be built right into its core.

History

Undergrowth was conceived mid 2017 to fill the void between Farming Sims like Stardew Valley and Survival Games like Don't Starve.

Our lead developer has been building pieces of game engines for over a decade and decided to use his experience to build a custom engine that would have modding capabilities built right into its core. Undergrowth will be the first game developed on that engine.

Features

  • retro
  • mod api
  • faux 2D
  • Survival
  • Crafting
  • Farming
