Description

Under The Rain is a psychological Survival Horror game inspired by the classic Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Alone In The Dark series. Played in the third person with a combination of fixed and over the shoulder camera angles, this episodic horror adventure will take you on a journey through the works of H. P. Lovecraft, much like a horror anthology, adapting some of his tales to modern times. The player must explore the world in order to find precious items to help him survive while trying to fight or flee from hideous creatures and maintain his grip with reality. Although weapons are available, stealth is the best way to survive... most of the times.

History

Under The Rain is the result of 4 years of hard work and dedication.

This is a project I started as a learning exercise that grew into much, much more, and became the game I truly wanted to play.

When I set off to do this, I had no idea of the overwhelmingly positive reception the project would have, and it transcends me even now, having gained a life of its own.

I never would have thought, in a million years, to achieve such a thing. After all, this is my first game, I am self-taught in several subjects (I had to quit school and start working when I was about 13) and I've always felt passionate about science, art, and technology, so what better way to merge all of them than by making a videogame.

It has been a great experience so far, and here's hoping that it gets even better.
