Reality is in danger and only one man can protect different realities from the menacing threat of the Destroyer of Realities. Ultimate Reality is a pixel art style game that includes many different game mechanics to make the game feel retro but also modern with included features such as puzzles, finishers and a compelling story about a hero who embarks on a journey through the unknown.
History
Ultimate Reality was a comic book I started at the age of 12 with a friend of mine. This hero was supposed to present everything I loved about super heroes. However, the Multiverse theory was catching traction at this point and I decided to make this hero's main power to be the ability to travel dimensions. I thought it would be amazing to have a hero who can experience reality in a whole different level and understand what makes each of them unique. However, as a kid, these dreams of being the next big comic book slowly faded away, until now. Before development, I was going through my old stuff and noticed I had collected the original comics I did of Ultimate Reality. I thought it was amazing of what the story could become and I decided to make this my hero a video game. Inspired by classic games like Spiderman for the GameBoy advanced and the Sonic Advanced series, I thought it would be perfect to capture this hero in a very nostalgic game. Games like Narita Boy and Hyper Light Drifter inspired the art style for this game. You can say this game has been in the works for over 7 years and I am very proud of how I revitalized this old creation of mine. I am proud to present to you all ULTIMATE REALITY.
