The UFO:AI development team is proud to announce that we have finally merged the new soldier models into 2.5-dev after much work from Origin and others. Designed by the very talented Origin, these models are a major upgrade to our soldiers, with better crouching and firing animations, and full support for normalmap and specularity effects:
We have also made some progress with the new UI - please keep in mind that these screenshots showing the UI in a early WiP-Stage:
FrontFox made also a 2.4 Let's Play. This one is very interesting for new players which have absolutely no clue how to play the game:
