A lot has happened since the last time I wrote on here (Apologies! I've been hard at work over at gamrReview.com as well as working on Twixel), so I thought I'd do a list of all the things I've been working on:

  • Twixel now has a new and improved trailer, which not only shows off the new design of the GUI, but also shows off some of the new obstacles you'll encounter and the new levels you can unlock. You can see this trailer below:

  • Twixelgame.com is now a real site where you'll be able to purchase the game once it's released on the 18th of December for $4.99. It was made by my talented friend Tristan Brookes.
  • Humble have created a widget for my site so you'll be able to purchase the game through their own servers and have it in your humble library.
  • Testers feedback has been taken and a lot of changes have happened in the game, from the way the cubes move/feel, to a few bug fixes that I missed first time round.
  • Twixel will now have 7 stages to unlock, with a progression system that will walk you through increasingly difficult stages.

So yes, as can be seen above, a lot has been done in the last month. Testers feedback have said that Twixel has enough content to be a real game on the market, and once asked, gave an average price of £2.99 ($4.99) that they'd pay for the product, so I've gone with that for now. If the game doesn't sell then I'll have to re-evaluate that price in the future.

I'll update the page again in a few days, but man am I excited and nervous about Twixel's imminent release. The features are locked, and testers couldn't find anymore bugs in the latest build, so here's to hoping it's release will go smoothly.

Thanks for reading, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me, I'll be happy to answer :D
