After a lot of discussion, Ribcaged Entertainment has come up with a plan to include multi-platform online multiplayer. We plan to do this by building a lag-less dedicated server that everyone can connect to. In order to do this we need exactly $381.94 to have matchmaking, and seamless online multiplayer. If we are able to raise this amount by Friday, August 13th, we will add a special feature to Left4Quake as voted by you, the community!
Everyone who donates more than $20 is given a weighted vote, meaning you will be a crucial factor in deciding the feature. What we really need is donations, any bit helps. To donate, go to the Left4Quake Forums and click the donate button.

Why do you have a deadline? I'd love to help in all, but investing in something such as a PSP game may backfire. I've seen a lot of amazing things from you guys, but it still looks as if you've got a lot of work to do. I'd like to see a finished product before donating anything. That's just my two cents.
That would completely stall the product, multiplayer is going to be the center point of L4Q. There are two choices, multiplayer, or no multiplayer. Our team voted for multiplayer.

yup, same thought here, however the point was they CAN't finish w/o that bank, they want to finish with the MP in it. atleast that's what i think from the msg givin here. they also want to finish the PC first before they port and as for deadline? no clue, if anything its probably the release of said beta.

Sorry after losing about 2000 Euro by doing crazy stuff I swore never to do crazy stuff again and this falls under crazy stuff, I really can't wait but I rather fight bots then donating money thats my 2 cents :|

It was decided by the team to be a key feature.
