Tourmaline is a 2d Action Platformer Metroidvania where the player must explore the city of Tourmaline, finding new weapons and spells on the way. You will fight unique enemies ranging from the cursed undead, to divine beings, as well as bosses.

The following video is a demonstration of some new rooms I have created for the game, these rooms will be part of the larger train station area in the game.
The most notable additions that can be seen in the video are improved parallax scrolling backgrounds, I plan to make greater use of this effect in the future, my current system is capable of both horizontal and vertical parallax scrolling (Though vertical scrolling is unused in any of the rooms shown.) I will post more updates in the future to show how progress is going, thanks for your time.
