Totraum is a "strategic-driven, horror-filled Top-Down Shooter Game." It's very similar to the game "DeadSpace" (Totraum means DeadSpace in German.) It's set in a futuristic environment aboard an inter-planetary cruise liner. You'd be surprised what wonders in the black abyss called the Milky Way. Key Features: Randomly generated weapon stats. Upgradeable weapons. Armor sets. Elemental Combat System (ECS: new and unique way to play.) Unique, randomly generated enemies. Why? Horrifying scenes and sounds! Abstract graphics letting your imagination take the best of you! Dark and gripping action! A wicked ride of adrenaline shooting!
Working on the bazooka to make sure it's not over-powered when maxed. Need to keep a balance. Working on visuals... real-looking bullets instead of plane boxes. Needs more help and level design in in progress!
I started to work on graph paper for a base on what the levels should be like. It's sci-fi future with a red, sinister look. It will be like a city with engines, with all the fun of a cruise!
The game will be fun and there will be more enemies in future updates.

Very interesting, particularly how you are getting so many on-screen animating and acting at once. Are you looping through them in a single script?
Nope, they all are individualized. The idle animation is controlled by a random script that makes them go up, down, left, right. The animated legs just flip back and forth when the movement is activated.
If I was to add a player to the scene, the AI near it would charge at him.
Will it have pvp?
Really nice game though, i like oixel games :D
Good suggestion.
If I include a pvp mode, it will require 2-4 game pads (xbox controller/duel shock/microsoft pad) because the game requires mouse input for shooting.
oh so the game will be multyplayer through the same pc ?
I thought it was something like left4 dead were you connected with other survivors throught the net :D
Reminds me of those pixel art roguelikes.
:D Looks really nice, tracking!
Little characters makes me think to darwinians. Anyway, interesting work on design and lighting, tracking :D
Haha, basically the same I guess. Just tried to make the simplest but recognizable human shape I could :) Thanks for the comment and support!
at first i thought "nothing special" but when the monster started to run around and vomit everywhere i actually got a bit scared! good job! *tracking*
