This XML contains a lot of options that affect the AI.
- Evade Distance determines how close a class of ship will go towards another.
An example might be that a Capital ship will not move to evade a fighter. Or a bomber might not want to get within range of a cap ships close in weapon system.
- Target Prefs is a metric that determines the preference of targets. A bomber prefers Capital Ships and other large target but does not really want to engage fighters. A destroyer might want to engage bombers but not other destroyers.
This handful of variables can greatly change the feel of a game or scenario.
Hmmm Stats
I like stats and detail. In Titan Prime much of the game's ai and behavior is controlled by a XML file.
