I was really proud about the animations and their playful nature I made for them. I couldn't help but watch them chopping Tiberium crystals or gathering Sudamis before they returned back to the Tree of Life and empty their baskets. I am really looking forward to recreate them. <3

BTW, if you are interested in the lore:
Centaurj is the name of this Asen-Race in their language which Humans directly adapted. The Asen were responsible for the mythology ancient Greek spread about these creatures since one of their fortresses in Midgard is on Samothraki Island in Greece.

Description

The next models I am working on are the Asen Harvesters and the Tree of Life.

Back in the old days the Centaurs with their baskets used to be pretty much like the GLA Worker in Command & Conquer Generals in sexy. They were cheap, fast for a harvester on foot, but less resilient and carried less. In Timeless War they also had other functions which I will explain later. The Tree of Life on the other hand was a small fortress compared to refineries in C&C games. Huge, expensive, but hard to chop down.

I started working on the Tree of Life when I posted the Screenis of the Barracks and now it is about 70% done.
The Centaur model however has not recieved any love yet. Their rework can take quite alot of time because I am also figuring out how to make the models compatible with a new Character creation system which I intended to put in place of creating 7 playable Commanders for each faction. So if you start playing as Asen Commander, you can choose to be a Centaur instead of a Naga and customize your character with different Marukai (Asen hair) styles, clothings and even weapons. This feature will be developed over time, but the Harvesters body, Marukai and outfit will serve as test subjects along the way.

I think those models might be around the 6th of May, up to a week later if things go wrong. Next Saturday I will post a small progress update.
