Description

Just some proof of concept:

Now the game has a dynamic Day-Night cycle system which is not based on simple clock times (although it is implemented as alternative), but rather uses my new Skybox system to the current direction of the sun relative to the surface and uses that information to determine light direction, intensity and what time of day it is. The same system also can dynamically check if there is a solar eclipse, which I tested with the Asgardian sky that has 5 moons and a twin-planet circling a common center of mass.
