Thrive will be a free, open-source game created by an online community of dedicated volunteers. Description
Since our game state engine is complete, we now have a menu that works and looks beautiful. Next step is making the first parts of the game- starting with a galaxy, and a planet generator.
We're still alive and closer than ever to sitting on your desktop.

Pretty simple menu for a so much advanced game.
We're just getting started.
Before I end up begging, how long can we expect until we get this "alpha" that is advertised as coming soon? (At the latest please, I want a pleasant surprise if it finishes ahead of time!)

its been like 5-6 years can we play the actaul game now!!!
You don't understand. They want this game to be as perfect as possible. This game still isn't even finished, and it wont be finished for a while. Spore took 3 years to develop. And this game has everything spore has, and even more. And this is just a small development team. Do you honestly expect them to just fly ahead and finish this game in days and weeks? Patience will really help. So just wait.
How long is it Posable to give a release date at this point
