Three Dead Zed is an action/puzzle platformer drawn completely by hand. Breaking out of a testing facility, players take control of an experimental zombie that can transform into three unique and distinct forms. With quick reflexes, a little problem solving, and some rescued kittens, players make a violent exit that won't be forgotten by their captors. The enhanced edition of Three Dead Zed is currently available for ALL OS's now (Win, Linux, Mac)! Thank you all who have been watching and have been patient with us!

This game was made pretty well so I would say it is a step or two above the classification of flash game but still looks and feel mostly like a flash game. Of course there are a ton of great flash games but this game is not fun or interesting. The changing between three classes mechanic is implemented in a totally uninteresting way and if you are just looking for that in a game please play Trine it succeeds at that pretty well.

There is some humor in the game but its not enough to raise the value of the game after you've played for 10+ minutes.

Love the goofy graphics and the 2d scroller style action. Switching between zombies to accomplish task makes it challenging and fun. Sometimes it gets a little frustrating at times but thats part of the challenge. The game is a lot better with a controller.

Great game, contains elements similar to Trine and Super Meat Boy. Very funny and addictive!

Very funny. Very buggy, too. But very funny.
Seriously, don't be put off by the size of the characters, the game really plays like a charm, it's beautifully drawn, it's made of pure, classic, awesome stuff.

But it's very buggy. Mind you, nothing that will completely crash the game or anything. Three Dead Zed just... feels a bit rushed. Common examples of bugs (I'll admit, the game is updating right now, but I'll have a busy day so bear with me if those were fixed): fall while holding a box and the box may just appear beside you and be considered as held by the game. Sometimes the jumping zed stays mid-air in a jumping position, this kind of things. Not enough to prevent playing, a bit too much to be perfectly comfortable.

But let's not bash a great game. There's fun to be had, puzzles to be solved, cats to be er... whatever, scientists to be unbrained (unbr... what?), cynicism, logs with a backstory (woohoo), and hopefully one day, even less bugs. Do you like zombies? Like Lost Vikings? Like cats? Like SCIENCE?

Then go. Download. Play. Enjoy this little gem. No bugs ain't gonna stop you, trust me. :)

Very nice game!
I'm playing it on Linux Debian Squeeze 32bit and it worked flawlessly out of the box.
Thanks guys for making the Linux version!
Keep up the good work!

The game is a great variation of the average zombie game. Instead of shooting hundreds of zombies, you play as one. Also the cats are hilarious!
