Masque of the Harvest!

Hello everyone and welcome to The World's and Iridium Based first event! We made something fun and easy this time around so players can relax and enjoy each other's company, something we think we have not been able to get a hold of with the players in quite some time.

If anything else we wanted to provide a thank you for all those who have both stuck with us and helped donate to our project! So thank you all for everything you have done for us everyone! We wouldn't be anywhere without you guys! Of course an amazing shout out from the rest of the staff for Siegfre's hard work to make this project possible!

Okay! Now that that's out of the way, time for what the event is about!

Masque of the Harvest
It is a common saying on The World that in order to attain true wisdom one must look both behind and ahead of oneself at the same time. The Masque of the Harvest is an ancient tradition across all races in The World. It is a festival that is held every year in the honor of both Yeva, the God of life, and Graves, the God of death. The festival serves two purposes; a celebration of the end of the fall harvest, and the honoring of the dearly departed. At the Masque of the Harvest festival, you are invited to join the feasting and merrymaking. You are also encouraged to remember those who came before you and wear masks in their honor. It is a time of gratitude for both the people we have known, and continued prosperity in the year to come. It is a time of year to revel in the promise of the future, reflect on the path that has led you there, and remember the friends you have left behind. So grab some food. Grab a mask. Then join us at the festivities!

The location of the event is a limited time area, Hidden Forbidden Paradise. Due to the strange nature of the magic surrounding this event, the festival will vanish after a set time! Once you are there you are more then welcome to explore, but I would first stop by and see Niome, as she can help you get started!
Niome:

Once you have your Spirit Fan, you are then able to defeat the Fireballs that are plaguing the field, as well as other monsters that may go bump in the night. Remember that these spirits are special to the field, and cannot be defeated by any other means!
After you defeat these cursed spirits, you will be rewarded Spirit Tokens, of which you can trade for various goods that vendors are selling at the festival! I could tell you more, but that would ruin the fun of exploring!

Also as some may know, Samantha Whitten 's Gamer Cat has stopped by to visit the event! If that Elite Cat enjoys the even enough enough, the new town cat might take over for the one responsible for Guild Creation and management! Just don't get on that crafty feline's bad side or you maybe locked out of your guild room! I heard there's a rumor Gamer Cat came for the fish and leaderboard ranks (no one told the poor cat we don't have ranks atm)...but you'll have to investigate yourself.
