Firstly, there have been updates to the subunit screen that allows you to filter and sort subunits. Each subunit will also autoupdate so you can see how much longer before your aircraft launches! Also, I've added an expand/minimize button so that you can scroll through subunits easier.
The next improvement significantly improves the 3d engine so now the game should be buttery smooth. While the game previously lagged at 30 units, it can now accept 70+ units on screen at once -- a real battle!
As you can see below, in version 1.4.2, the average CPU load is much lower, at around 30%. In contrast, version 1.4.0 had significant CPU load, near 90 per cent for a game that includes 30 units.
Finally, if you haven't already, I highly encourage you to download the Desktop version of the game. Performance is improved even more when ran on your desktop, as you can see below.
That's it for now. Over the course of the week, I hope to keep an eye for more bugs to fix. Other than that, the next update next week should include a big improvement to the unit and mission editors. Stay tuned.
