UQMHD Remix is a fork of The Urquan Masters HD (aka the hi-res version of the open-source version of Star Control II) which fixes some outstanding bugs, improves some of the settings/backgrounds, makes the game easier to run for newbies, and enables the use of the higher-quality remix music from the Precursors remix project.
Based on one of the greatest games of all time. While I am perfectly okay with the low-res original, the HD update along with all the various fixes, does justice to it. This game oozes personality, and is packed with great tunes, fun scenarios, and a combat system that doesn't grow old (Supermelee is a blast with friends, the logical evolution of Space War!).
